Coyotes re-sign Andy Miele

The Phoenix Coyotes announced Friday that they’ve re-signed
center Andy Miele to a one-year, two-way contract.
Miele scored 16 goals and had 38 assists in 69 games for the
Portland Pirates of the American Hockey League last season.
Miele played in seven games with the Coyotes in 2011-12,
registering 6 penalty minutes.
The 5-foot-9, 180-pound Miele was the recipient of the 2011
Hobey Baker Award, which goes annually to the top college
hockey player in the country.
