Arizona Cardinals given odds of slight favorites vs. Seahawks

The Arizona Cardinals head into Seattle for their second NFC West matchup of the 2022 season, and the oddsmakers have the Cardinals as the favorite against the Seahawks.
The spread for Arizona sits at -2.5 as of Friday, per Fan Duel Sportsbook.
This is a notable number, because for the first time all season, the Cardinals are favored. Arizona was given at least five points against the Philadelphia Eagles (+5.5), Las Vegas Raiders (+5.5) and Kansas City Chiefs (+6). It was also a +3.5 line for the Cardinals against the Los Angeles Rams, and two weeks ago, Arizona closed at +1 prior to beating the Carolina Panthers.

The Cardinals are 3-2 against the spread this year, and despite four out of five of the team’s over/unders hitting under, it’s another high bar for Week 6.
An over/under of 50.5 is the second-highest mark in Week 6, a nod to a great season for Seahawks quarterback Geno Smith thus far and a not so great season for the Seattle defense thus far.
In the props department, a fun one is the Cardinals being favored -130 in the first quarter, even though they have not scored a point in the opening 15 minutes all season.
