Things went from bad to worse for the Arizona Cardinals on Sunday.

In their ugly 19-9 loss to the Seattle Seahawks, the Cardinals suffered a late blow in the form of a Hollywood Brown foot injury.

The wide receiver was seen in a walking boot and had a noticeable limp postgame.

“My X-ray was good so that’s a positive,” Brown told reporters. “We’ll go forward tomorrow and see what the next steps are.”

Looking to covert a fourth-and-11 near midfield, quarterback Kyler Murray aired one out Brown’s way.

The wide receiver was thoroughly covered, though, with rookie Tariq Woolen all over the route.

The cornerback came down with the interception, while Brown went to the ground in pain. He needed to be helped off by members of the training staff and did not return to action.

Brown recorded five catches on nine targets for 68 yards Sunday. Only tight end Zach Ertz had a more productive day, reeling in seven catches for 70 yards.

The wideout has been Murray’s favorite target through six weeks, leading all Arizona pass catchers in receptions (43), receiving yards (485) and touchdowns (three).

It’s a tough blow for Arizona’s offense, which continues to struggle despite Brown’s best efforts.

Regardless if Brown has to miss time, help is on the way with DeAndre Hopkins rejoining the team in Week 7 after missing the past six games due to a PED suspension.

Arizona will need all it can get offensively coming off a three-point effort on Sunday and with the New Orleans Saints heading to town for Thursday Night Football.
