The Arizona Cardinals will play their first home game of the season with the roof open at State Farm Stadium Thursday night against the New Orleans Saints, the team announced.

The forecast in Glendale projects 87 degrees at 5 p.m. for a 5:15 p.m. MST kickoff with clear skies throughout the game.

The Cardinals advised fans to dress accordingly with a change to the setting.

The team also encouraged fans to arrive early in order to beat the weeknight rush hour traffic across the Valley.

Carparks open at 1:15 p.m., which is when the Great Lawn becomes available for fans.

The club gates will open at 2 p.m. and the main gates will let the Red Sea in at 3:45 p.m.

The Cardinals are looking to break a winless streak at home which dates back to Week 7 of last year.

A win would put them at 3-4 on the season.

The game will air on Arizona Sports 98.7, the Arizona Sports app and ArizonaSports.com.
