Azuolas Tubelis scored a team-high 19 points to lead the Arizona Wildcats to a 91-61 victory over Western Oregon in an exhibition men’s basketball game Tuesday night at the McKale Center in Tucson.
Tubelis made 9 of 16 field goal tries in 23 minutes for the Wildcats, who out-rebounded the Wolves 52-32 in the win. Arizona’s Oumar Ballo led the way with 11 boards.
Six players scored in double figures for Arizona, which did not trail in the game and led 48-33 at halftime.
The Wildcats got 36 points from their bench players, scored 54 points in the paint, notched 31 points off turnovers and scored 19 fastbreak points.
It wasn’t all good news for Arizona, however.
The Wildcats went just 3-for-17 (17.6%) on three-point shots in the game and starting guard Kerr Kriisa did not score in 25 minutes. He missed all three shots he took.
