Arizona Coyotes ECHL affiliate unveils Blue’s Clues-themed jerseys

Friday marked National Jersey Day, and the ECHL affiliate for the Arizona Coyotes unveiled quite the new look.
The Atlanta Gladiators will wear Blue’s Clues-themed uniforms Friday evening to promote a new Nickelodeon film, “Blue’s Big City Adventure.”

The jerseys will be auctioned off after Friday’s game against the Orlando Solar Bears.
The Gladiators are far from first team to wear jerseys based on kids shows, as the El Paso Chihuahuas — the San Diego Padres’ Triple-A affiliate — wore SpongeBob uniforms last season, tie and all.

The Philadelphia 76ers’ G-League team, the 87ers, played in SpongeBob jerseys back in 2018.
At least the Gladiators wear blue at home regularly, so the color isn’t quite as far off as yellow with holes.
