Arizona Cardinals defensive end J.J. Watt this past week kept his two-year promise to the Plummer family of the United Kingdom, flying them out to Sunday’s game against the Seattle Seahawks.
2 years in the making, but we finally got you guys across the pond and to a game!!
Glad you guys enjoyed the trip!

Watt made the promise when young Archie Plummer made a replica of the Houston Texans’ NRG Stadium out of LEGOs in 2020, during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic.
The 33-year-old saw this replica, called it incredible and expressed the desire to bring Archie out to NRG Stadium once fans could attend games again.
That is incredible!
Whenever we can have fans in the stands again, I want to fly Archie over here to experience a game in the real-life version of the stadium he built.
Please send me a DM so we can sort it out and until then, send my best to Archie from across the pond! https://t.co/ZTKw7ypFtA

However, 2020 was Watt’s final season with the Texans.
Then he was hurt in 2021, his first season with the Cardinals. This season, he flew the Plummer family to Arizona from their home in St. Helens.
As part of the itinerary, the Plummer family received a tour of State Farm Stadium, autographs and Archie played catch with Watt.

The Plummer family had a front-row seat to watch Watt, who had three tackles in 56 defensive snaps. However, it’s safe to say Watt’s performance was an afterthought to them.
What can i say about yesterday! What a truly unbelievable moment for my son Archie and the rest of the family. @JJWatt you are an amazing human being. We will never forget what you have done for Archie and us. We will remember these moments forever #dreamscancometrue pic.twitter.com/MT5uI8pVI6
