Green is ranked by 247Sports’ composite rankings as the 22nd-best shooting guard in his class and the 127th overall prospect in the country. The 6-foot-3 guard had also been receiving offers from Alabama, Duquesne and Eastern Michigan.
Bobby Hurley’s class is now featuring two players, with Green joining four-star power forward Akil Watson, placed by 247 Sports’ composite rankings as the 119th highest-rated prospect in the nation.
Going off of 247Sports, this would be the first time since 2020 that Hurley had a recruiting class featuring at least two four-star players. That was the class that featured Josh Christopher, Marcus Bagley and Pavlo Dziuba.
The 2022-23 iteration of the Sun Devils is heavy on transfers. The starting five in the season opener featured four of them, and three from this past offseason. The backcourt has been bolstered in the past two years by junior D.J. Horne and sophomore Frankie Collins.
