The Arizona Cardinals have placed center Rodney Hudson on injured reserve and signed kicker Tristan Vizcaino to the 53-man roster.
Also on Saturday, the team announced it activated safety Charles Washington from the injured reserve/designated for return list and elevated offensive lineman Rashaad Coward to the active roster from the practice squad.
Hudson, who has been nursing a knee injury, will be sidelined for at least the next four games. He played the first four games of the season but has missed the past five. Before the season, the 33-year old considered retirement.
Vizcaino, 26, has appeared in seven NFL games — one with San Francisco in 2020 and six last season with the Los Angeles Chargers.
He has made nine of 10 field goal attempts with a long kick of 47 yards. He’s also made 12 of 17 extra point tries.
Vizcaino spent the preseason with the Patriots and was also on New England’s practice squad this season.
Kicker Matt Prater is listed as questionable for Sunday’s game at the Rams because of a hip injury/illness, but will not be traveling to Los Angeles, per the team.
The Cardinals and Rams play Sunday at 2:25 p.m. on Arizona Sports 98.7, the Arizona Sports app and ArizonaSports.com.
