ASU running back Xazavian Valladay accepts East-West Shrine Bowl invite

Arizona State senior running back Xazavian Valladay has accepted his invitation to the 2023 East-West Shrine Bowl.
Valladay marks the third Sun Devil to be going to the college All-Star game at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas on Feb. 2.
Both left guard LaDarius Henderson and linebacker Kyle Soelle also accepted their invitations to the bowl game over the last two weeks.
After four years at Wyoming, the running back transferred to ASU as the active rushing yards leader in the entire country at 3,281.
In 10 games in a Sun Devil uniform, Valladay has rushed for 986 yards on 178 carries (5.4 per rush) to bring his nation-leading tally to 4,267.
The running back has also scored 13 rushing touchdowns and added two receiving scores on 31 catches and 264 yards.
Nationally, Valladay ranks No. 19 in both rushing yards and yards per carry, while his rushing TD tally is tied for eighth.
And when it comes to all-purpose yards and total touchdowns, the running back is tied for 25th in the country with 125 yards per contest and tied for sixth at 15 total TDs.
