ASU LG Henderson, Oregon State RB Fenwick out for Saturday tilt

Nov 19, 2022, 12:12 PM | Updated: 12:24 pm

Arizona State and No. 24 Oregon State will be without major parts of their offenses as Sun Devils left guard LaDarius Henderson and Beavers running back Deshaun Fenwick are out for Saturday’s tilt.

Fenwick is Oregon State’s co-leader in touchdowns with six rushing scores and 393 yards. He has been a major part of the Beavers’ 25 rushing touchdowns on the year. Expect running back Damien Martinez to take a lion’s share of the snaps in the backfield.

Joining Fenwick as out for the Beavers on Saturday are S Jaydon Grant, CB Alex Austin, LB Jack Colletto, WR Anthony Gould and OT Tyler Morano, according to head coach Jonathan Smith.

Henderson was not seen on the field prior to the game and will miss his fifth-straight contest due to a finger injury.

Center Ben Scott was seen dressed and warming up but Ben Bray was taking first-team reps over him. Captain linebacker Kyle Soelle and corner Ro Torrence were seen warming up after missing last Saturday’s game at Washington State.

Many of the Sun Devils were honored pregame for senior night including Henderson and Soelle.

Arizona State is looking to rebound after losing three of its last four games.
