Football worlds collided Monday when the United States men’s national team took on Wales in their Group B matchup of the World Cup.
The game was scoreless into the 36th minute before forward Timothy Weah put one past the Wales goalkeeper Wayne Hennessey to put the U.S. up 1-0.

It may be hard to choose the winner on who announced it best.
However, safety Budda Baker and linebacker Dennis Gardeck may lead on sheer emotion. Though wide receiver Marquise “Hollywood” Brown’s practice paid off.
Weah’s goal was all the United States needed to take a lead into halftime. The U.S. owned 66% of possession in the first half despite committing seven fouls.
Goalkeeper Matt Turner didn’t have to register a single save in the first half.
