Arizona Cardinals safety Budda Baker could be well on his way to his fourth straight Pro Bowl.
Baker’s 48,454 votes have him leading all strong safeties in the NFC, the position Baker has been placed under. Fan voting began on Nov. 15, and starting on Thursday, votes can also be cast on Twitter.
The 90 tackles for Baker this season are far and away the most on the Cardinals, with only Zaven Collins’ mark of 74 breaking a plateau of 70. Sixty-one of those tackles for Baker are of the solo variety, which is tied for 10th overall in the NFL. He’s also got one tackle for loss, four passes defensed, one interception and one forced fumble.
This would be Baker’s fifth overall Pro Bowl selection if he got the nod in 2023, as he made it on special teams during his rookie season.
Fan voting ends on Dec. 15. A combination of fan, player and coach votes decide the Pro Bowl rosters, with each group accounting for one-third of the weighted total. Players and coaches vote on Dec. 18.
Minnesota Vikings wide receiver Justin Jefferson leads all players in votes with 90,313. He is followed by Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes (87,384), Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce (85,785) and New York Giants running back Saquon Barkley (83,947).
