GLENDALE — Arizona Cardinals quarterback Trace McSorley has another weapon to gift passes to as the NFL’s slate of Christmas games concludes Sunday night at State Farm Stadium.
Wide receiver Hollywood Brown is good to go for the contest after entering the tilt questionable with a groin injury. The wideout was a limited participant the last two days of practice after picking up the ailment on Wednesday.
With McSorley making the first start of his NFL career on Sunday, having Brown available could go a long way in helping the signal caller spread the rock and settle in.
This season (nine games played), Brown has amassed 584 receiving yards and three touchdowns on 57 catches (88 targets). He trails only DeAndre Hopkins in catches (63) and yards (713) and tight end Zach Ertz in receiving touchdowns (four).
Cornerback Antonio Hamilton (back), offensive linemen Max Garcia (shoulder) and Kelvin Beachum (ankle/knee) and safety Charles Washington (chest) are also active for Sunday night.
Cornerback Jace Whittaker, linebackers Jesse Luketa and Victor Dimukeje and offensive linemen Rashaad Coward and Wyatt Davis join cornerback Byron Murphy Jr. (back) — who was placed on injured reserve Saturday — quarterback Colt McCoy (concussion) and defensive lineman Zach Allen (hand) as out.
As for the Buccaneers, linebackers Genard Avery (abdomen/oblique) and Carl Nassib (pectoral), cornerback Jamel Dean (toe), offensive linemen Donovan Smith (foot) and John Molchon, quarterback Kyle Trask, wide receiver Breshad Perriman and defensive lineman Vita Vea are out.
Smith has started 12 games at left tackle this year.
Safeties Antoine Winfield Jr. and Mike Edwards are active for Tampa Bay.
