The Arizona Cardinals signed return man Pharoh Cooper and defensive lineman Manny Jones off their practice squad and to the active roster among a flurry of other moves Wednesday.
Safety Budda Baker (shoulder) and defensive lineman Trysten Hill (knee), who were injured in a loss to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Sunday, were sent to injured reserve to end their respective seasons.
With long snapper Aaron Brewer sent to injured reserve two days prior, the Cardinals also signed Hunter Bradley, who will be an activation option off the practice squad. Arizona additionally signed cornerbacks Jordan Miller and Chris Wilcox to the practice squad Wednesday.
Practice squad offensive lineman Lachavious Simmons was designated to return from the practice squad injured reserve list, while cornerback Nate Hairston was added to the practice squad IR.
The addition of Bradley is among the most notable changes that will have an impact on Arizona’s remaining two games, at Atlanta and at San Francisco.
He has played 56 games with the Green Bay Packers from 2018-21 and was a seventh-round draft pick in 2018.
Miller has 12 games of experience between stints with the Atlanta Falcons and New Orleans Saints. He was a 2019 draft pick out of Washington, where he played with current Cardinals cornerback Byron Murphy Jr. from 2016-18.
Murphy was placed on the injured reserve this week, forcing Arizona to make additions to their defensive backfield.
Wilcox was a seventh-round pick in 2021 by Tampa Bay and also has spent time with the Indianapolis Colts over the past two seasons.
