Warriors forward Andre Iguodala was fined $25,000 on Thursday for his unsportsmanlike act in Golden State’s 125-113 loss to the Phoenix Suns two days prior, executive vice president and head of basketball operations Joe Dumars announced.
Iguodala’s fine stems from directing inappropriate language toward game officials and throwing the game ball into the stands.
With 4:30 remaining in the fourth quarter of the Warriors’ loss to the Suns, Iguodala was assessed a technical foul and ejected for throwing the ball in the stands.

He proceeded to give the refs the business before eventually exiting the court.
Iguodala finished with two points, three assists, a rebound and one turnover in 13 minutes played.
Oddly enough, it wasn’t the first time the forward got the boot for sending the ball into the stands.

Iguodala is averaging one point, two assists and 1.5 rebounds in two games played this season.
Tuesday marked a big night for the Suns, who snapped a six-game losing streak with the win over the Warriors.
Unfortunately, that success wouldn’t pour over to Wednesday, with Phoenix falling 126-97 to the Denver Nuggets.
