The Grizzlies also listed John Konchar (illness) as questionable.
Danny Green (knee) and Kenneth Lofton Jr. (two-way) were ruled out for the game while Kennedy Chandler (facial fracture) was listed as available.
The second-place Grizzlies have been the hottest team in the NBA, riding a nine-game winning streak.
The Suns have lost eight of their last 10 games and are in a three-way tie for the ninth seed in the Western Conference.
