Arizona State head coach Todd Graham spoke to the media for the first time since his son Bo, the running backs coach, resigned on Monday.
“Obviously I’m very grateful to Bo for the time he spent here, it means a lot to me,” Graham said. “We wish him the best at his new job and that’s all I’m going to say about it. It’s a personal matter.”
Graham was asked about the impact of losing his son on the coaching staff.
“I’m not saying goodbye to him, he’s my son. I’ll see him every day,” Graham said. “He’s got a new opportunity and it’s an exciting opportunity for him.”
As far as what that opportunity is, Graham wouldn’t reveal it to the media.
“I’ll let you guys figure that out. Probably won’t be very hard,” Graham said.
Bo Graham spent time coaching at ASU, Tulsa and Pittsburgh. He was entering his third season as the running backs coach for the Sun Devils.
