Calais Campbell on Pro Bowl ‘cheat sheet’

Oct 23, 2012, 6:30 PM | Updated: 8:39 pm

Calais Campbell is having a good season for the Arizona Cardinals.

The defensive end is not putting up spectacular numbers, tallying 23 tackles to go along with two sacks in seven games, but his contributions do not always show up in the box score.

That hasn’t stopped him from being noticed, though, as the folks at ProFootballFocus.com have placed the Cardinal on their “Pro Bowl Cheat Sheet” for the NFC.

Following a year where his ability to get pressure clearly out-stripped his run defense Campbell has put it all together this year and is behind only J.J. Watt among 3-4 defensive ends.

According to the site, Campbell is also responsible for nine QB hits and four batted down passes to go along with the two sacks.
