Arizona Diamondbacks’ Paul Goldschmidt featured in national ad for Major League Baseball

A new national commercial for Major League Baseball featuring Arizona Diamondbacks first baseman Paul Goldschmidt is pretty much a perfect portrayal of perhaps the quietest superstar in the game today.
With commentary from Arizona Sports 98.7 FM’s own Burns & Gambo and others, the commercial features no voice over from Goldschmidt himself. Instead, the commercial focuses solely on Goldschmidt’s play on the field, as others do the talking, weaving the verbal tapestry for the player D-backs’ fans affectionately know as “Goldy.”
This season, Goldschmidt ranks third or better in the National League in major categories such as RBI (1st, 94), slugging percentage (2nd, .567), walks (2nd, 97), batting average (3rd, .329), hits (3rd, 149), on-base percentage (3rd, .444) and total bases (tied for 3rd, 257).
