Arizona Coyotes confirm Boedker, Hanzal out for season

The Arizona Coyotes confirmed Sunday that left wing Mikkel Boedker and center Martin Hanzal are out for the remainder of the season.
Don Maloney confirmed that both Mikkel Boedker and Martin Hanzal are indeed our for the season.

In 37 games with the Coyotes this year, Hanzal scored eight goals and had 16 assists with 24 points. Boedker had 14 goals in 45 games with 14 assists and 28 points.
Hanzal underwent back surgery in February while Boedker is recovering from a ruptured spleen that has since been removed.
