The Arizona Wildcats remain ranked as the No. 20 team in The Associated Press college football top 25 poll after an underwhelming win against Northern Arizona.
Arizona trailed at halftime, 10-6, before pulling away and holding the Lumberjacks scoreless in the second half of a 22-10 win on Saturday in Tucson.
The Wildcats (2-0), who won 61-39 over New Mexico in the season opener, were leapfrogged by the Louisville Cardinals, who have more decisive wins over Austin Peay (62-0) and Jacksonville State (49-14).
Next up for Arizona is a road matchup against the No. 14 Kansas State Wildcats, who themselves are coming off a close call. They pulled off a 34-27 win at Tulane that require a rally from a 20-10 halftime deficit.
The Wildcats-versus-Wildcats matchup will not count as a Big 12 game, as it was previously scheduled as part of a nonconference schedule when Arizona was in the Pac-12.
