ASU sells 5-figure package for Bobby Hurley’s Duke visit that goes to NIL funding

Arizona State men’s basketball head coach Bobby Hurley is a Duke legend. ASU is taking advantage that fact to benefit the program’s name, image and likeness funding around a charitable exhibition game between the Sun Devils and Blue Devils.

Fans who want to attend the Oct. 27 exhibition in Durham, North Carolina, can watch Hurley return to Cameron Indoor Stadium with selective Sun Angel Collective packages that cost from $7,500 to $20,000 per person.

And the packages might be appealing to both Arizona State and Duke fans.

The Sun Devil Insider package offers two fans an “ultimate behind-the-scenes college basketball experience” with premium travel and hotel accommodations over three days, a film session with Hurley and the ASU-Duke game. It’ll only cost a pair $25,000.

In total, it includes a round-trip package for two, game tickets, accommodations for all on-the-ground events in Durham and Tempe and access to a marquee event with former Duke coach Mike Krzyzewski.

For $11,000, the Hurley Returns to Cameron package offers the same amenities as the Sun Devil Insider but is more catered toward local Duke fans. It will “make you feel like you’re reliving some of Duke’s greatest basketball moments.”

For those seeking a VIP trip experience, the Legend Package offers all of the premium benefits of the Sun Devil Insider Package plus a private golf foursome with Hurley. That tops out at $20,000 for an individual.

All proceeds raised from the packages will directly support ASU men’s basketball NIL.
