Phoenix Suns guard Bradley Beal has been ruled out for Thursday’s Halloween game at the Los Angeles Clippers due to a right elbow sprain.
Beal was questionable for Monday’s game against the Los Angeles Lakers with an elbow issue, but he played through it. Beal played 35 minutes and scored 15 points with four assists in the win.
The veteran missed Phoenix’s previous game on Saturday against the Dallas Mavericks. Rookie Ryan Dunn started in his place and will once again against the Clippers.
Suns guard Josh Okogie remains out with a strained right hamstring that has delayed his season debut.
Star Kawhi Leonard remains out without a sign for his return from a right knee injury, while backup center Mo Bamba has also yet to play this year due to a left knee injury.
The Suns bested the Clippers to open the regular season at the new Intuit Dome in L.A. 116-113 in overtime. Beal scored 24 points in the victory.
Opening tip on Thursday is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. on 98.7 and the Arizona Sports app.
