Tetairoa McMillan is down there somewhere.
Arizona Wildcats quarterback Noah Fifita had a free play after a Houston penalty, and he aired the ball deep downfield toward his top receiver in the first quarter in Tucson on Friday night.
McMillan boxed out the defender and high-pointed the football in the end zone put Arizona ahead early. That was the seventh touchdown of the year for McMillan after he nabbed 10 in 2023.

The touchdown grab was arguably not even McMillan’s most impressive catch of the quarter, although the other contender did not count.
Fifita delivered a deep throw toward the sideline, and the receiver extended his left arm and snagged the ball with one hand. It looked like the best catch of the season for Arizona and maybe the Big 12. However, he attempted to get his left foot down inbounds, but the call was an incomplete pass.

McMillan almost made a diving catch in the end zone during the second quarter, but he was out of bounds once again.
Tyler Loop breaks school record
Arizona kicker Tyler Loop drilled a 62-year field goal to end the first half, breaking the program record by five yards.
The Wildcats are battling to keep their bowl game hopes alive with a 3-6 record entering the final three games. Arizona led 7-0 after the first quarter and 10-3 at the half.
