Brent Brennan will get a second season at the helm of Arizona football, but he will be challenged to keep his 2025 recruiting class together despite turnover in his assistant ranks.
The Wildcats will reportedly move on from offensive coordinator Dino Babers after he handed off play-calling duties during a 4-8 season. And while quarterback Noah Fifita expects to return, he will for the second season in a row be losing a starting left tackle and top wide receiver to the NFL Draft.
Tetairoa McMillan will presumably depart Arizona as its all-time leading wideout, while tackle Jonah Savaiinaea also is likely to leave.
According to 247 Sports’ composite team rankings, the Wildcats began signing day with the 52nd-best recruiting class in the nation and 10th-best in the Big 12. The group of verbal commitments totaled 20 prospects.
Arizona’s class includes players from California (7), Texas (6), Arizona (5), Florida (1) and Hawaii (1).
