On the latest edition of the State of the Sun Devils podcast, Jeremy Schnell, Jesse Morrison and Damon Allred react to Arizona State football making the College Football Playoff with its 45-19 win over Iowa State in the Big 12 Championship.
Cam Skattebo had another big performance en route to winning Most Outstanding Player. The Sun Devils’ running back had 16 carries for 170 yards and two touchdowns. He also had two receptions for 38 yards and a touchdown.

Quarterback Sam Leavitt did not miss a beat with star wide receiver Jordyn Tyson out. Leavitt was 12-for-17 with 219 yards and three touchdowns through the air. He added 45 yards on the ground.
ASU (11-2) is without a doubt headed to the College Football Playoff. There is a chance the Sun Devils receive a first-round bye. They could also host a first-round game if they are seeded No. 5 through No. 8. The worst-case scenario is ASU having to travel in the first round.
The selection show is set for Sunday at 10 a.m. MST and will air on ESPN.
