PHOENIX — Arizona Sports 98.7 FM and ArizonaSports.com is excited to announce the addition of long-time Valley sportswriter Craig Morgan to its content team.

“I am grateful to Arizona Sports for providing me the opportunity to continue to cover the Coyotes, Cardinals and other teams within the state,” said Morgan, in a press release. “Arizona Sports’ digital and radio platforms provide a unique opportunity for more thorough coverage, more nuanced analysis and greater interaction with the teams’ fan bases. I look forward to serving you.”

Most recently, Morgan covered the Arizona Coyotes, Arizona Cardinals and ASU Football for FOXSportsArizona.com. A member of the Arizona sports scene since 1993, he has also produced work for CBSSports.com.

“It’s very exciting to add one of the top sportswriters in the southwest to our content arsenal,” said Ryan Hatch, Bonneville Phoenix Vice President of Content and Operations. “Our commitment is to provide the local sports market unparalleled coverage on radio, online and on social media, and Craig is going to help take ArizonaSports.com to the next level.”

ArizonaSports.com is one of the fastest growing local sports websites in the country, as it features a healthy mix of news, opinions and feature stories. Morgan will begin contributing to the site on Sept. 14, with a focus on the Cardinals, Coyotes and ASU athletics. You can find him on Twitter @craigsmorgan.

Arizona Sports 98.7 is the flagship home of the Cardinals, Phoenix Suns, Arizona Diamondbacks, Arizona Coyotes, Arizona State Football and Arizona State basketball. Along with games, the station features an all-local lineup of shows from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday, with additional local programming on Saturday, too.
