FANTASY OUTSIDERS WEEK 5 RECAP

LUKE 127.6 – 99.9 Calvisi
Difference Makers: A last-second decision to slide Doug Martin (37 points) into the lineup instead of the hapless C.J. Anderson a) helped Luke run his record to 5-0, b) handed Calvisi his first lost in four weeks and c) should be a reminder to everyone that nothing good happens when you start C.J. Anderson.

BICKLEY 143.1 – 122.3 Marotta
Difference Makers: For the first time in awhile, someone other than Calvisi had the high score of the week. Bickley used another 33 points from Devonta Freeman — and a late, 30-point push by the well-rested Antonio Gates on Monday Night Football — to remain undefeated and drop his co-host to a befuddling 0-5 on the year.

DOUG 137.2 – 95.6 Wolf
Difference Makers: Doug picked up his third straight victory — and second over his co-host this season — courtesy of big games by Tom Brady (25), Le’Veon Bell (23), Allen Robinson (26) and Tyler Eifert (29). Meanwhile, Matt Ryan (6), Jimmy Graham (6) and Randall Cobb (5) all let Wolf down in his time of need.

BYRD 105.8 – 77.2 Burns
Difference Makers: Unfortunately for Burns, his team has become the perfect example of what happens when your quarterback either gets hurt (Tony Romo) or just stops playing football (Matthew Stafford). Despite having one of the best drafts of anyone, he now sits at 1-4. Byrd used another monster effort by the Broncos D/ST (25) to pick up the win, but lost Jamaal Charles in the process.

PAIGE 91.5 – 65.6 B-Train
Difference Makers: Paige continued to cash in on the strange phenomenon of Andy Dalton suddenly being reliable, using 27 from the Bengals QB to pick up her third win in the last four weeks. Another 22 points from Julian Edelman helped as well, while B-Train pieced together a lineup around injuries to Andrew Luck, Dez Bryant, DeSean Jackson, Sammy Watkins and Lance Dunbar.
