The Arizona Diamondbacks took a step forward in 2015, winning 15 more games than they did the year before.
Their hope is for that momentum to continue in 2016. And when they take the field next season, the D-backs will do so in new uniforms.
According to MLB.com’s Steve Gilbert, team president and CEO Derrick Hall is expected to announce Friday at the team’s Celebrity Golf Classic that the uniform design will change and will be unveiled Dec. 3.

#Dbacks Hall: "I think this is going to be appealing to all ages but in particular the youth that we as an industry are trying to attract."

Gilbert notes that a color change is not in the future.
The Diamondbacks, who started play in 1998, originally wore a purple, turquoise and copper color scheme. The team underwent a makeover in 2006, switching to the current Sedona red, sand and black scheme.
