Diamondbacks acquire catcher Chris Herrmann from the Twins

The Diamondbacks acquired catcher Chris Herrmann from the Minnesota Twins on Tuesday afternoon in exchange for infielder/outfielder Daniel Palka.

Herrmann has played in 142 games for the Twins over the past four years. He has played at catcher, left field, right field and first base. His career average is .181 and has six home runs and 33 RBI.

Palka was a D-backs third-round pick in 2013. In 2015 he hit 29 home runs in the high-A California League.
