Adrian Wilson’s 12-year run with the Arizona Cardinals came to an end Friday when the team released him.

The five-time Pro Bowl safety, who will likely continue his career elsewhere, released a note on his Instagram page for the fans he played for for more than a decade.

“It’s been a honor and a pleasure Cardinals fans. 12 years of heart and dedication and loyalty. 1 day we’ll celebrate the #24 together. 24.”
