Stephen Curry is unfair, dupes Ronnie Price

Apologies in advance to Phoenix Suns point guard Ronnie Price, but our job here is to chronicle the sports happenings in the great state of Arizona.

The biggest sports happening of Friday night was the Suns hosting the Golden State Warriors and their 16-0 record to begin the season.

Stephen Curry is the biggest part of the historic streak, and so Steph Curry has our eyeballs.

It’s worth mentioning that Phoenix handled Curry just about as well as the rest of the NBA would. Not well at all. Curry scored 27 points on 11 field goal attempts in the first half alone while dishing out eight assists.

But if we had to pick out the best of many dazzling plays, this at the expense of Price is the easy winner.

Price applies pressure at halfcourt but lunges for a steal attempt. Curry reacts quickly with a behind-the-back dribble, waits for Price to recover at the three-point line, then pump-fakes before drilling a wide open trey.

It’s not fair.

Ronnie Price just happened to be the victim, but he put himself in such a vulnerable position by fearlessly attempting to make Curry’s life miserable.

It was, at the very least, an admirable thing to do.

It also confirmed to us that Steph Curry is pretty good at basketball.
