Minnesota governor wears Coyotes jersey after losing a bet

Score one for Arizona.
Actually, score three for the state.
A couple weeks ago, three of the Valley’s four professional sports teams took on opponents from Minnesota.
On Thursday, Dec. 10, it was Cardinals vs. Vikings on the gridiron.
On Friday, Dec. 11, it was Coyotes vs. Wild on the ice.
On Sunday, Dec. 13, it was Suns vs. Timberwolves on the hardwood.
Sensing an opportunity to have a little political fun, Arizona governor Doug Ducey and his counterpart in Minnesota, Mark Dayton, decided to make a little wager.

Well, the Cardinals won 23-20.

The next night, the Coyotes earned a 2-1 victory in overtime.

Having already won the bet, Ducey was hoping for the sweep. He got it when the Suns won 108-101.
