Former Pats TE Hernandez sporting new prison “ink”

Dec 24, 2015, 11:59 AM

It’s been eight months since former New England Patriots tight end Aaron Hernandez  was sentence to life in prison, and it appears he’s inked a new deal.

Hernandez was in court Wednesday for a pretrial hearing for his upcoming double murder where he was spotted with a new prison tattoo on his neck that apparently is given to members and supporters of the Bloods street gang.

In April, Hernandez was found guilty and sentenced to life in prison without parole for the 2013 murder of Odin Lloyd. He is expected to stand trial in January for allegedly killing two men in Boston in June 2012.

In 2010, Hernandez was drafted in the fourth round (113 overall) by the New England Patriots. In three seasons in New England, Hernandez caught 175 passes for 1,956 yards and 18 touchdowns and played in the Patriots’ 21-17 loss to the New York Giants in Super Bowl XLVI.

On June 26, 2013, Hernandez was released from the Patriots minutes after police arrested him in connection to Lloyd’s murder.

The Bloods are a notorious street gang throughout the country and has been known to participate in numerous criminal activates including murder, robbery, drug trafficking, burglary, prostitution, theft and extortion.
