Cardinals players react to Walsh miss, Seahawks win

Even with the low temperatures, it seemed like the Seattle Seahawks were on their way out of the playoffs and the game was set between the Arizona Cardinals and the Minnesota Vikings. All that needed to happen was for Blair Walsh to make a 27-yard field goal.
But then, he didn’t.

Walsh’s miss sent twitter into a frenzy and the Seahawks to a shocking win. Cardinals players reacted on twitter and as you can tell, most of them were as stunned as the Seahawks were.

If anyone on twitter was worth following during the miss, it was former Cardinals kicker Jay Feely. Feely provided insight into the controversial hold. He even predicted holder Jeff Locke not turning the laces having an impact on the short kick by Walsh.
Remember last two FG's Locke has not turned the laces on either hold. Even on a short kick that can impact the kick

Because of the Seahawks win, the Cardinals will now play the Green Bay Packers in the NFC Divisional Round next Saturday. The Packers beat the Washington Redskins 35-18 in the Wild Card Round Sunday, setting up a rematch of a Week 16 meeting that was dominated by Arizona.
The Cardinals defense sacked Green Bay quarterbacks nine times en route to a 38-8 pasting of the Packers.
