EDINBURG, Texas — Joshua Braun scored 20 points and Grand Canyon rode a monster second half to beat Texas Rio Grande Valley 64-58 Saturday night and snapped a two-game skid.

Grandy Glaze added 18 points and 12 rebounds for the Antelopes (20-4, 7-2 Western Athletic Conference), who outscored the Vaqueros 41-19 in the second half.

UT-Rio Grande Valley raced to a 39-23 halftime lead when Everett Osborne made three 3-pointers in less than two minutes. Glaze responded with three consecutive baskets out of the break to cut the lead to 10. The Vaqueros missed their first six shots of the second half until Osborne’s basket with 14:07 to play made it 41-35.

Braun hit a 3 to tie it at 46 with eight minutes left. Keonta Vernon made a layup and Braun added another 3, and Grand Canyon led the rest of the way.

Osborne scored 16 point to lead UT-Rio Grande Valley (6-18, 2-7).
