Carson Palmer serious about retiring unles he is traded
One candidate in the Arizona Cardinals quarterback search is “dead serious” about retiring unless he is traded.
Want-away Cincinnati Bengals quarterback is serious about retiring unless he is traded, according to teammate Chad Ochocinco.
He is dead serious kind sir.i spoke with him RT @musa90: @ochocinco is Carson Palmer really serious bout retiring if he doesn’t get traded?
If Palmer is as serious as Ochocinco said, that could mean the Cardinals may have just been presented a good – and cheaper – option than Eagles quarterback Kevin Kolb.
As the demand and price for Kevin Kolb has increased, the Cardinals may be forced to part with key players. The loss of a talented young player to a franchise on the cusp of rebuilding could be devastating, especially given the high likelihood of quality quarterbacks being available in next year’s draft.
If Palmer does want out, the Cardinals should pick him up. At worst, he can be a stop-gap quarterback to get the team through one season until they can bring in a young, possibly franchise QB.
