The Arizona Cardinals have yet to address their pass rushing need in free agency, but they’re reportedly looking at another area to shore up.

The Cardinals could use some help at cornerback, where only Pro Bowler Patrick Peterson, Justin Bethel and Cariel Brooks are currently under contract. Jerraud Powers, a starter over the last three seasons, is an unrestricted free agent.

ESPN’s Adam Schefter reported later Thursday that Amukamara will visit the Jacksonville Jaguars, a team with money to spend.

Amukamara, 26, just finished his fifth NFL season with the New York Giants, who selected him with the 19th overall pick of the 2011 draft out of Nebraska. Amukamara has played in 55 games, starting 45. He has seven interceptions, 261 total tackles, 45 passes defensed and three forced fumbles in his career.

Before starring at Nebraska, where he was the Big 12 Defensive Player of the Year and a unanimous All-American in 2010, Amukamara played at Apollo High School in Glendale. He was named the Arizona Republic High School Player of the Year in 2006, when he helped the Hawks to a 7-4 record.
