The Arizona Cardinals brought back two of their own Friday morning, signing defensive tackle Josh Mauro and tight end Ifeanyi Momah to one-year contracts.
Both players were exclusive rights free agents.
Mauro played in 14 games for the Cardinals in 2015, starting four. He had 22 total tackles, one quarterback sack and two forced fumbles. The former Stanford standout started his career as an undrafted free agent with Pittsburgh in 2014 but was signed to the Cardinals’ active roster from the Steelers practice squad on Nov. 14 of that year.
The 6-foot-6, 282-pound defensive lineman saw action in five games in 2014.
Momah, 26, signed with the Cardinals in March of 2015 after his performance at the NFL Veterans Combine. The converted wide receiver was one of the stories of training camp last summer before he was sidelined by a knee injury right before the start of the regular season.
Momah played at Boston College from 2007 to 2011, catching 39 passes for 629 yards and six touchdowns for the Eagles. After going undrafted, the 6-foot-7 Momah spent time with the Philadelphia Eagles, Detroit Lions and Cleveland Browns before catching on in Arizona.
