Cubs star Kris Bryant pranks Mesa Community College baseball team

Mar 19, 2016, 9:00 AM | Updated: Mar 21, 2016, 11:40 am

In a short amount of time Kris Bryant has established himself as one of the very best players in all of baseball.

As a rookie last season, Bryant hit .275 with 26 home runs and 99 RBI for the resurgent Chicago Cubs. Not only did Bryant help the Cubs to their first playoff appearance since 2008, he unanimously won the National League Rookie of the Year Award.

The 6-foot-5, 215-pound third baseman is an imposing figure on the field and at the plate, and that fact was noted by some of the players on the Mesa Community College baseball team as they were watching Bryant take batting practice with them.

Of course, they did not know it was Bryant at the time, as Red Bull and head coach Tony Cirelli teamed up to play a prank on the team.
