Two nights, two shutouts.

Saturday night in Glendale, Tampa Bay Lightning goal Ben Bishop made 32 saves in a 2-0 win over the Arizona Coyotes.

Sunday night in San Jose, the ‘Yotes ran into James Reimer, who saved 25 shots in the Sharks’ 3-0 victory.

“We just don’t create enough chances, and that’s where we are,” frustrated Arizona head coach Dave Tippett said following Sunday’s loss.

Getting shut out in back-to-back games is rare. It’s the first time the Coyotes have gone through a two-game red light drought this season, and just the tenth time in the regular season dating back to the franchise’s arrival from Winnipeg in 1996.
