In this version of the Bogdan Bogdanovic watch, we compare the Fenerbahce Ulker combo guard and Suns 2014 draft pick to the NBA’s MVP.
OK, nobody can be Chef Curry, but in one play Bogdanovic did two things the Golden State Warriors point guard does quite well: Hit a very deep three and made a game-winner.
Following a 21-point Euroleague game Friday, the Fenerbahce Ulker combo guard dropped 23 points in a Turkish league outing Monday. The last three points, for the win, came in Curry-like fashion.
On an out-of-bounds play, Bogdanovic set a back-screen for a teammates but popped out well beyond the three-point line and caught a pass. The defense apparently miscommunicated and didn’t cover Bogdanovic on the inbound, but seeing as it was pushing 30 feet out and a defender recovered from slipping down, it didn’t seem like a game-breaker.
Again, let’s just take a look at how deep Bogdanovic caught the ball before he took the shot.
Bogdanovic banked in a deep three-pointer as the buzzer sounded, and Fenerbahce dropped Turk Telekom, 85-83.
The legend of the Suns’ draft pick continues to grow.
I hope next time we will win on normal way?S/O to my clutch passer @GigiDatome ?thank you fans on your support in Ankara ?see you in 2 days!

Bogdanovic’s heroics for his Turkish squad have certainly helped his case for the Suns taking advantage of an out in his European contract following this season. Suns general manager Ryan McDonough told Arizona Sports 98.7 FM that the team will meet with Bogdanovic after the season and present a plan for how he’ll fit on the Suns.
The question is how Phoenix will sell Bogdanovic on joining a backcourt that, as of now, includes Devin Booker, Eric Bledsoe and Brandon Knight.
These aren’t the worst problems to have as an NBA team.
