It’s 10:01 on Tuesday, do you know where your starting quarterback is? If your the Arizona Cardinals and Kevin Kolb is you’re signal caller of choice, the answer could be ‘on his way to the Valley’.
At least that’s what Philadelphia Inquirer Eagles beat writer Jeff McLane said via Twitter.
FYI, player trades can be finished tomorrow. Therefore, the Kolb move will be probably be done at 10:01 am.
Whether it happens exactly one minute after teams are allowed to negotiate trades or not, the news means that our long local nightmare is drawing to a close. By the end of the week the rumors stop and the Cardinals will have a starting quarterback (unless Derek Anderson makes a last second comeback … nevermind).
That’s right, after months of speculation the entire process is coming to an end. The only thing left is for fans to debate if the quarterback the Cardinals decide on is the one that will actually make them winners once again.
