Having watched his Tigers lose 11 of their last 14 games heading into Monday, things aren’t incredibly sunny for manager Brad Ausmus.
He’s been dealing with hot seat questions coming from the media for the past week and doesn’t seem pleased continuing that practice. His general manager isn’t helping matters by ducking similar inquiries.
All seemed to be going well Monday night when the Tigers put together an eight-run first inning, but as the Minnesota Twins chipped away at the Detroit lead to make it 8-7 heading into the fifth inning, Ausmus’ sanity slowly left as well.

Ausmus left the dugout during the first at-bat of the fifth inning to argue calls by umpire Doug Eddings, and his ejection was followed with what should be considered one of the more creative tantrum performances in quite some time.
