Archie Bradley, a right-hander in the Diamondbacks organization who has pitched in 10 major league games, won Pacific Coast League Pitcher of the Week, the Reno Aces announced Monday.

Bradley tossed eight shutout innings on Saturday against the Omaha Storm Chasers, allowing three hits while striking out nine.

Bradley is the third Reno Aces player to win a weekly award this season, along with outfielder/first baseman Peter O’Brien and right-handed starter Braden Shipley.

The 23-year-old is tops in the PCL in strikeouts per nine innings at 10.4, second in opponent’s batting average (.191), tied for second in wins (5), third in ERA (1.99) and fifth in WHIP (1.08). He’s won Pitcher of the Week three times before, once with the single-A Visalia Rawhide and twice with the double-A Mobile Bay Bears.

Bradley has appeared in two games for the D-backs this season, with his most recent outing coming on May 9 against the Rockies. That day he lasted six innings with four runs allowed.

After making the team out of Spring Training last year, Bradley posted a 1.80 ERA in his first 20 big league innings. He hit the DL after being struck by a line drive in the head in April, and returned to action in May. He struggled after his DL stint, posting a 10.91 ERA in 15 2/3 innings with the Diamondbacks.
