According to John Gonzalez of CSN Philly, former Suns power forward Markieff Morris was detained Thursday at the Philadelphia International Airport.

Morris was having his bags checked for an international flight when an item caused law enforcement to conduct a secondary search.
In that search, police found what law enforcement officials described as “suspected marijuana” according to Gonzalez.
The investigation is on-going.
Morris’ issues in Phoenix have been long-documented. The No. 13 overall pick in 2011 did not respond well to his twin brother, Marcus, being traded last summer, tweeting that he would not return to the Suns.
He stayed with the team for the 2015-16 season, but it was filled with controversy.
After initially starting in the beginning of the season, Morris was benched in December. When he returned to the rotation, Morris created more buzz after throwing a towel in the direction of former head coach Jeff Hornacek and was suspended two games.
It got weirder. After Hornacek was fired and Earl Watson was named interim head coach, Watson named Morris the No. 1 option on the team and averaged 20.6 points per game in his five games playing for Watson.
Eight days after being named the primary option on the team, Morris got into a shoving match with teammate Archie Goodwin. Another eight days later, Morris was traded to the Washington Wizards for a protected first-round pick, Kris Humphries and DeJuan Blair, who both did not remain in Phoenix for the duration of the season.
The pick Morris was traded for is No. 13 in this year’s draft.
