Arizona Cardinals show lighter side during media day

Jun 6, 2016, 2:21 PM | Updated: 3:25 pm

The Cardinals held their annual media day on Monday, giving Cardinals players a chance to show their lighter side.

As the team looks forward to what could be a bright season, first-round pick Robert Nkemdiche already has his shades on.

The trailer for the much-anticipated All or Nothing documentary series on the Cardinals was released Monday, which may have inspired safety Tyrann Mathieu to make a Snapchat behind-the-scenes film of his own:

That’s not to say the Honey Badger didn’t get in on the media day action.

Then there was Patrick Peterson, who was ready to rock.

Meanwhile, a Cardinals edition of the Captain America shield was the centerpiece of a ‘dream team’ that included safety Tony Jefferson, cornerback Justin Bethel and wide receiver Jaron Brown.

Finally, tight end Darren Fells, safety Deone Bucannon, cornerback Brandon Williams and Nkemdiche all made appearances in a behind-the-scenes media day Twitter collage.

Newcomer Chandler Jones also got some work in with the camera.

The Cardinals wrapped up OTA practices last week and will begin a three-day mini-camp Tuesday before being off for the rest of the summer until training camp, which begins when players report on July 28.
