NFL players think this Chandler Jones guy is pretty good.

After his peers voted Jones No. 48 on the list of 2016’s top players, opposing players like the Texans’ Charles James II gave kind remarks about the Cardinals’ new pass rusher in an interview with NFL Network.

“Chandler Jones – he’s a beast too, he’s quick around the edge,” James said. “You’ve got to keep account for him every time. Because if you don’t, he’ll kill you.”

Last season with New England, Chandler recorded 12.5 sacks and 31 solo tackles in 15 games. He also had an interception. In 2013, Jones had 11.5 sacks.

New Orleans Saints tight end Coby Fleener recognizes Jones’ overall talent.

“He’s not one of the ends or outside linebackers where you say, ‘This guy’s just a pass-rusher or this guy’s just a run-stopper,’” Fleener said. “He’s also the total package.”

The 26-year-old pass-rusher is the brother of UFC fighter Jon Jones and Colts defensive end Arthur Jones. All three brothers have won championships, and in Arizona, Chandler will look for another ring.

“The guy was always good,” Redskins tackle Trent Williams said. “But he’s had the type of season where he could be easily nominated as defensive MVP.”
