Arizona State has lost seven starters — most due to injury — since the end of last season. Cornerback Omar Bolden was among the first hurt. He may be the first to come back.
“He’s got a chance to return,” said Dennis Erickson during this weekly Monday press conference.
Bolden, an all-conference player a year ago, suffered a torn ACL in his knee on April 2. He underwent surgery a few days later.
“I feel,” Erickson added, “like after the bye (October 22) that he has a chance to come back and play.”
ASU ,following its bye week, hosts Colorado on the 29th, which would put Bolden almost seven months into his recovery.
